Get the template and you can set it up multiple times on multiple tables.

It depends on where it is located. You could probably just use the other holes to rack and they will keep that ball in place.

Unless you can get the rack to line up perfectly with the other holes you would have to. I don't see the purpose other than the time involved since the holes are so cheap.
