I bought what I consider to be a decent little cue. Its a Pechauer custom that I picked up about 3 years ago at the SBE in VF. I paid roughly $400 for it with an asking price of $475. Problem has arisen that I REALLY like this cue, and have alot of people in my area tell me its a beautiful cue, that the woodwork is very nice and the grains are beautiful. I spent about $150 to get all dings out of my shaft last year at the SBE by Mike Gullassy. After receiving the cue back, one of my "friends" must of used it in my basement when I was upstairs or knocked it over, and took a nice chunk out of the forearm. I gave the cue to Jeeves to take to the US Open (I couldnt make it) to get a price to refinish the cue without losing the signature. Cost to do so will be aproximately another $175 bucks. In less than a year I will be dumping $350+ for repairs on this cue.
Should I just save my roll and buy another cue?
