You have every right in the world to post pics of the cues you get. It's a public forum, and there are plenty of us out there that love to see the great things showing up lately. You've acquired quite a few gorgeous cues lately...and I enjoy looking at them.
Do I wish I could get some of them, too? Sure. Can I? No.
Regardless of that fact, I don't begrudge anyone who is able to get what they like/want. It's your money, they're your cues, and you should feel free to share them with us, if you so desire.

I do understand that folks don't think some things are fair...and there's an atmosphere of resentment that you didn't have to wait as long as some to get your cues...but that doesn't change the fact that they were made for you...and as such, you can do with them (and the images of them) what you want to.
Keep posting, sir. I like to see your new toys pop up on the boards. Each one gives me a sense of appreciation for the work that went into them.

This is really just silly. Ya know. I have never attacked this guy personally. All I've stated is I was curious how the heck he's getting these cues from people with long wait list so quick. I've gotten quite a few PM's agreeing with me on what i've said.
Beautiful Southwest, But I placed an order with Southwest in 00 and was told 7 years and I know they hit a snag here , there it's fine i'll wait. This guy just STARTs to play pool in 04 and has managed to get a few cues and surpass the list which is .. whatever..call it not fair, i call it Baloney. i just asked him to elaborate on it if he would. Now i KNOW what your saying leave the big cue collector alone we like to look at the pics. Well so DO I but for you to paint me or anyone else that questions the methods of obtaining these cues a VILLIAN is just ridiculous.
I'm sure this fella is a nice guy etc etc but he never really would give a straight answer and i'm called names, compared to a mass murderer, and villified for just asking, and being persistant. please
o and for the record AGAIN I never said anything negative about this cuemaker or the person. villified for asking how he got them so fast. give me a break.

The fact remains, though:
You asked Kam some questions about him getting his latest Barry, and fairly strong inferences were made about how it went down...and the fact that you can't get one from Barry yourself.
Kam posts up pics of a nice new SW cue...and once again, you bring up his time "involved" with pool...and compare YOUR wait time to his.
I just don't see what difference it makes to you, or anyone else for that matter. Kam's wait time was his. Your wait time is yours. His cue gain has no bearing on yours.
There are plenty of smart people on here...most of which, I'm sure, are inclined to believe that you're not just "asking questions." You're stirring a pot for no apparent reason other than your own personal enjoyment and a seeming desire to diminish Kam's enjoyment of his new cues.
I just don't see why you can't leave it alone. Passive-aggressive complaining won't get you your cue any quicker, sir.

where you see "cue-makers" , i see friends.. people i know .. talk to .. share my life with and have the privilege of sometimes sharing theirs... their history and how they got to where they are - people i have dinner with, spend time with their friends and family .. laugh with and so much more ...
to me, they are a part of my life .. not just people i buy stuff from ...
when you bring money into the equation, you cheapen this relationship ... and that i resent - deeply !

I think...
It's your right to ask questions, and so is Kam that he is not obliged to answer any one of those....do respect his right.
Some collectors build up very good relationship with cuemakers and share their life together thus those cues they get may be deemed as some sort of gift, which is far beyond $$, I believe Kam is kind enough to give you some hints and he answered your questions already, there's always something money can't buy.
Be nice, gentleman, and be patient, I have been waiting long enough for some of the cues I desire, and I know there's always someone who can get them ahead of me, but that's life, isn't it? Even if you know how they get it, can you copy that? No matter the $$ or the time they invest?

Not necessarily the cue itself just Kam's ability to come up with very hard to find/ get cues. More power to him in my opinion . If I had a way or an ability to circumvent the lists or pickup these great cues I would certainly take advantage of that.
It would just be a real shame if we all missed out on seeing great cues because 2 people out of a board with hundreds of members had to post their negitive thoughts.
I know for a fact that this is a reason that many of the great collectors don't share what they own here on AZ . The only way you'll get to see there cues is to know them and get an invite.
If you have some really great cues I'm sure that I as well as many others here would appreciate you sharing them with us.
