Does anyone have any info for the Smoky Mountain Shootout? I have looked everywhere and can't seem to get any info.

I got my entry form about a month ago. I'm not attending this year. I'll bring it tomorrow. If you don't have any info by then, I'll fax the entry form to you tomorrow... It may be full already...

As stated by another, the dates are April 29, 30, and May 1. The field is limited to the first 128 players, always fills up early and players turned away so get in early. The guaranteed prize fund is 8K for 1st thru 16th. Texas express rules, double elim, race to 9, loser to 7, red circle cue balls, Murray pro series bar tables, entry fee is $100.00. Players meeting is at 1900 Friday. Player auction starts at 2000. Actual play starts within a few minutes after the auction is ended. Food is available, bleacher seating is available, raffles for cues and other things. This is a benefit for a non-profit organization of Haywood county (the ARC) and is a worthy cause. This tournament is well run and enjoyed by all. It is in Waynesville NC, which is 30 miles west of Asheville NC. This will be their 22nd year so you know it must be good to last that long.
