Here is a sneak peek at some of the cues that I will be showing at the WCCS. All these cues are a collaboration between myself and John Davis. We have been working together on these for a while. All these cues are built on full spliced blanks built by John Davis. Four of the blanks have either amboyna burl or thuya burl points with matching butt sleeves and some great veneer combinations. 2 of them are fullspliced wrapless cues. All of the cues are inlaid and have engraved hoppe rings.
Im looking forward to the show, it should be a good one. Thanks for looking!!

Looking great, Tim. I love the variety of the designs, and the inlays look super-tight. Nice work, to both You and John!

Thanks for the compliments on the cues. Here is a picture of the forearms of the cues. The burl woods on these really stand out. All of these cues have a unique dual set of trim rings at the joint of the butts. The shafts are all maple with phenolic inserts and no trim rings. When screwed together they look like a traditional joint with rings on the shaft and butt even though they are both on the butt. I think it gives the cue a unique look. Come check them out in person at the show.

The "crown" bumpers I still use on my cues, but these cues are a collaboration between John Davis and myself so these are "Davis-Prince" cues so we decided to go with this bumper style. These are just the first prototypes that we have done to see what kind of response we get. We are sort of trying to combine the "old school" full splices with some more "new school" inlay designs and materials.

John Davis told me you guys had collaborated on some cues for the show- looking good!

Wow!!!!!!!! Real nice cues.

Here is one more picture of the butt sleeves. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the show. I will have alot of other cues being displayed too, including the fanciest cue I have made yet (sorry, no pictures yet).

Tim,

I'm lovin' those burl cues. I never used to be a fan of the "look" of a full-splice cue, but I've definitely arrived at a different outlook recently...and those are politely screaming "classy"!!! Plus, I'm a HUGE burl fan...did I forget to mention that?

Fantastic looking cues!!!

Jason

I enjoyed seeing these at the show. Always nice to see a new twist on some inlays.
You need to start a thread with some of your cues in it, too- especially the ivory-engraved ones. I saw a buddy of yours over there taking pictures- post up!
