SneakiestPetes for sale

I have decided to send a cue to Manwon if the offer is still acceptable to him. Possibly one more to another individual who pm'd me.
I'm sure there are lots of people on this site who could do a credible review but I only have so many cues and so much that I can spend on shipping.

who makes these? Do they make either of the woods into birdseye forearm? or something crazier like Ebony into Tulipwood or vice versa?

I have a business partner who has been building cues for 15 years. He prefers to remain anonymous. The craziest you will see on these cues is what you've already seen....just boring old quality hardwoods and kick-ass shafts/pins/tips...that's it for crazy.

This concept seems really sound. I think many people feel that the sneaky style cue can offer a tremendously pure, communicative feel. Please don't take this as negative, but I suggest you re-think the name and logo. Something a bit simpler and classier might be a positive in people's buying decisions--"Sneakiest Pete" just sounds a bit too gimmicky. Just MHO.

I have hit and played with these cues and they are fantastic for the money. A hot rodded simple cue that plays great. You just can't go wrong with what is in these cues. OB shafts Kamui tips and low price.

nice to see that SOMEBODY actually gets how to make a sneaky pete and not a sneaky liberace.

Interesting concept.

IMO....

remove the logo

get the balance point moved forward alittle. They seem really butt heavy.

Offer cues with joint collars.

Other than that, I'd buy one.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks like that! As for making a sneaky pete with a joint collar, wouldn't that destroy the purpose of a sneaky pete? I like how the sneakys are as it is now.

What weight and what is the max length you can have these made in? Send me a PM, thanks.

Happy shooting!

Chino

Hey Chino,
I know that you've talked about buying one of these before (tulipwood?). You can work something out with Troy on that one if you want it. Otherwise, check out the ones I'll have listed Sunday nite/Monday. Different shafts and wood.
Yes I can do a standard shaft. Yes I can do a different pin. Yes I can do a longer cue. No I wont change either the logo or style. It's my concept of an affordable high end sneaky that you can take to the bar (and not worry about someone trying to steal it) OR to a large tournament and feel good about your cue. You don't have to have a ton of money to have a very nice cue.
Not looking to get rich here.....just want to offer a decent product at a decent price and make a few bucks.
Now whats wrong with that I ask ya?
Keep an eye out for a couple of reviews, I'm sending one cue to Manwon an one to ForumGhost516.
Nothing like an unbiased opinion from the east coast and the west coast. One guy is a cue builder and one is a league director.

If you have someone test one I would suggest sending several different shafts since most of those shafts are going to play quite differently. That way you can send one cue and get several different reviews as to how they play with each shaft. Just a suggestion. I am interested in an ebony with 314(2). Awaiting the reviews.

I'd have to agree with that.

Nice looking cues though.

 Hey maybe you should have a name my cue contest. :poke: :killingme:

:duck: :D Just Kidding, Please don't

Sneakiest Pete

I agree. If you want to be the "Sneakiest Pete" get rid of the logo. Maybe put it under the bumper. If you could possibly get one to one of the vendors at the Valley Forge Billiard Expo next month a bunch of us would get to try it and see for ourselves. No better advertising than that!

I am interested to see the Bacote with Ob-1 and kamui. Please send me pics when you have them.

Will start a new thread later tonite with pictures of the new cues. I'll tell you right now that whoever buys the Goncolo Alves with the I-3 shaft is going to be very happy with the way that cue hits!
