So ESPN can't find time for pool?

Wow, 200 tables in a city of 12.5 million. One 18 table poolroom in a country of 4 million. Yup, pool is exploding in Europe.
Here, let me help you, clearly you're handicapped😉

What if he is handicapped? You’re not very nice.

and you’ve been proclaiming to be pools savior for several years now without any results, like zero results. it can be entertaining at times but the put up or shut up is coming into view. It’s about time for you to man up and let your actions speak for you. People still do that these days, right?

but more importantly, If anyone can find out how far the winner threw in the mullet toss and pm me I would appreciate it.

I’ve been to the Floribama and saw it one time and laughed my ass off. I think a girl won it that time. I say “I think” because I’m not totally sure she was a women. She claimed to be, but man she was scary.

With today's search abilities, if in 2 minutes

The short bus is never lacking for riders!!!

And don't worry about what I'm doing, August 24/25th the corporate board meeting will be attended by all parties involved for a coming together to launch this project, advertisers will be attending as well.

Cornhole is more popular and far easier to broadcast.

And the have a national organization with a pro tour. Imagine that.

Sounds like you should fire up the products for that vertical.

Hope your good JB

It also means missing out on all the shows you were watching, before they all got split up on their own streaming networks! If you want to keep up with them, then you have to subscribe to each individual streaming platform, Game of Thrones, Blacklist, Walking Dead, Person of Interest....are all on separate platforms! All requiring a subscription!
I watch what I want to watch when I want to watch it, without being led around by networks. There isn't a single program you listed that I have the slightest desire to see. I'm not a slave to "must watch" TV propaganda or FOMO on the latest episode of the latest TV rehash of something they basically did already years ago.

This is totally not true for many people, depending on what kind of viewer you are. If you just want to watch a bunch of good tv programs and movies, and aren't particular about what they are as long as there are a lot of good ones, then you can probably get away with just all the free stuff out there, or maybe just need to buy one major premium service at most. But if there are a number of particular shows that you consider to be must haves, and to a lesser extent if you also watch a wider variety of different types of content than just movies and television series and the like, then chances are you are going to need a minimum of several different major and several different minor premium streaming services and the cost is going to add up to be more (sometimes a ton more) than it is for cable where you were able to get all your must haves in one place.

No, someone in that situation is still bad at cord cutting because given the tastes you described it was a bad decision to cut the cord in the first place.

Cord cutting shouldn't mean trying to duplicate the cable service for less money because, as you indicate, that doesn't work. It means you are going to be more selective and purposeful about what you watch and assemble a reasonable collection of streaming sources at a reasonable price, without letting the tv marketing 'must see' marketing affect you, that support your interests. It is not for everyone. If you have 'must watch' then you will have 'must pay'. But for me personally, I have no 'must watch' current tv shows. I watch what I like and between my modest streaming services and YouTube I'll never run out. For those who want the full flow of current tv shows and want to watch the latest thing, just keep your cable. Don't cut the cord.

Really, then the Carom Room Cafe in in Queens, NY should pull in about the same viewingaudienceas Korea does, problem is, again, the Ameican viewers!
Don't flip any switches with a world viewing audience, they don't need gimmicks to get a viewing audience, leave that shit to the American viewers, which is more than likely the lowest viewing audience of all countries!
No, it means that Koreans are more interested in 3c than Americans are. This is not rocket science.

You really that d#&b to think the only pool tables in Europe are Diamonds, wow!!! I played on Brunswick's and Gandy's in Germany way back in the 70's!!!

Hey, it was YOUR example of the supposed burgeoning growth of pool internationally. What was going on in Germany in the 70s is meaningless, but this is your style - everytime you get called out on your view of things you deflect to something that is irrelevant as a distraction.

I'll be GLUED to my seat to see what happens, LOL.

Who cares? This is just another attempted distraction.
You were the one that tried to imply 200 Diamonds in Moscow was really nothing, pointing out, wow, 200 tables in a 12.5M population, completely oblivious to the fact that Diamond isn't the only table manufacturer out there. What you FAIL to realize is that those Diamond table sales was to ONE person! The point is, just like with American viewers, we DON'T represent the thoughts, feeling, or table support for the rest of the world. My guess is Americans are the worst viewing audience of the entire world when it comes to supporting pool, which is WHY pool has NO support in our country!!!

According to published reports, ESPN’s margins are flattening for the following reasons:

Loss of subscribers. According to this article, ESPN lost 2 million subscribers in 2018 and has lost 12 million subscribers since the end of 2013. Subscribers make up 60% of ESPN’s revenue.
ESPN loses 2M subscribers in fiscal 2018

High cost of programming. For example, ESPN pays the NFL $1.9 billion a year for essentially the rights to broadcast Monday Night Football, and recently agreed to pay the Ultimate Fighting Championship $300 million a year for broadcast rights. Loss of subscribers and lower ratings lessen the likelihood of returns on these investments.
Maxed out payouts from cable and satellite TV suppliers. ESPN generates its subscriber revenue indirectly, through payouts from FIOS, DirecTV, and regional cable suppliers. For a long time, the TV suppliers simply increased their fees to customers, who had limited options for alternatives. This isn't true anymore: So-called “cord cutters” have eliminated cable bills and receive content from Hulu, Amazon, Netflix and others instead.
The increasing political slant of its coverage. Many/most people view sports as a respite from the real world: it’s a time to revel in the talents of extraordinary athletes and forget about politics for awhile. ESPN has instead been increasingly emphasizing politics — with a predominantly liberal slant. This has turned off a chunk of the audience — see this article for details.
How a Weakened ESPN Became Consumed by Politics

Some of these issues are interrelated: subscriber losses are certainly due to “cord cutting” to cheaper alternatives as well as by others who are fed up with the politicization of the sports broadcasts. But it’s clear that ESPN misread the marketplace, and its ability to grow subscribers at increasing yields indefinitely.

It will be fascinating to see how they respond going forward. For me, that will be mainly by reading about it rather than watching their product offerings

Disney: Time To Sell ESPN? Politics, Trends May Again Hurt Profitability
Jul. 19, 2021 4:27 PMThe Walt Disney Company (DIS)DKNG, DUEL, GAN
Summary
Positive signs abound for Disney as the country reopens, pent-up demand takes hold, and consumer spending soars.
While Disney stock is flying high and has room to run over the long term, ESPN may become a drag on future earnings as it was in the recent past.
Sports and sports ratings have major issues including short-term political discord and long-term secular decline among the younger audience.
Fortuitously, sports gambling has exploded and this trend may be the saving grace for ESPN - if it has staying power.
I expect calls for a spin-off or sale of the network to resume in the near future.

I would think if a Pool promoter pitched Pool to ESPN, with 5 Million Dollars in Sponsorship as part of pitch ESPN MIGHT CONSIDER.

I still don't understand why anyone CARES about ESPN. Do you also have grand hopes that the rotary telephone will make a huge comeback? ESPN is well past it's glory days. There are many better outlets for sports today. When even their bread and butter has better outlets, the writing is on the wall. They aren't relevant anymore and hoping they could somehow grow pool is silly at best. They are irrelevant to the world at large, how can an irrelevant broadcaster save pool? It's silly to even consider the scenario at this point.
