So how come my thread postings are getting dropped?

I posted a thread in the Wanted/For Sale section for my books two days ago and it disappeared. I had an email address in it so I assumed that was why. I posted one again yesterday and again it disappeared. I have no idea if I did anything wrong. I've been on AZ long before the 2004 date on my profile (go back to rec.sport.billiards days) and never had any issue. Any advice?

If you are selling something physical, you must include a picture of it. I've had posts deleted for lack of a picture.

Hmmmm...thought my profile photo would have covered that. Would have been nice if the moderator explained why you were deleted. Just a couple of words. "No photo" ...plunk....

Yeah thanks for your input. I must admit I had never seen this before. Don't really post much here anymore. Too many keyboard hyenas.

Hi Mike,

Geez..."many" years ago....how about "a short time ago" ;)

Everything posted once I put the photos in. So today has been a success because I learned something new.

I appreciate the kind words. Hopefully some new to the game or even a few old timers will enjoy them as well.

If somebody sent you the message:
No photo

You'd be no clearer than you were upon your subsequent initial position.

Wasn't sure about the price, Robert.

Anywhos, there's a dozen or so *really* old-timers here still posting. For most of us the brain cells are still there, it just takes the synapses a bit longer to make the connections.
