so where are the Diamond Carom and 10 foot models?

I hope once they hit a few places someone will let us know. I would like to check one out.

so unless you're insider you would never know?

their website and pr is a joke

Diamond's website don't promote what's being built...only what HAS been built as a table in the regular line up of tables for sale. Before these two new tables go on the for sale list, there needs to be some research done first...like are they going to sell enough to make it worth building them in the future.....so patients is a virtue in this case;)

i do unfortunately agree.

for someone wishing to be an industry leader, they leave much to be desired in the PR department. and i know a little something about PR.

with all due respect, its not a good way to make friends if u ask me..

With respect,

Since they ARE building some, it would make sense to promote them. I surmise they will be using their successful Pro-Am's as a guide and that would make selling the larger tables even easier. I suppose the larger playing area could create some logistical problems.

I don't know of anyone who hasn't been impressed with Diamond's ambition to be the best AND with their current quality standards.

All things aside, it seems like some communication with its potential customer base would be in order?

Ever see a new Walmart store being built? The sign on the corner of the lot says "Walmart opening soon"....then the banner on the new building says the same thing..."opening soon"....then one day as you drive by again, you see that it's now open to the public....no grand opening sales, no grand opening party...no nothing, it's business as usual...open for business;) Walmart didn't miss any posted opening date, didn't open early or late....they just opened to the public one day, leaving you wondering...when did they open that store?....and it just becomes business as usual from then on.;)

Diamond vs. Walmart:::::

Walmart doesn't have a message board to complain to about not having a store close to X city!!!!
(EDIT) I didn't know there were so many people that hated Walmart enough to start several forums about the hatred!!!!

I would consider the sign on the corner, then the large construction site, afterward a banner on a 10,000 square foot building to be.....promoting. Also, construction ALWAYS has a deadline and I have never seen a banner that didn't have some sort of date regarding the proposed opening.

I would have NEVER compared Diamond to Walmart though and hope Diamond doesn't aspire to be like them.
