So will anyone line up to play Billy Thorope 1p for the cash?

He went out around the 8th or 9th round to his buddy Justin Hall. Bergman has actually said he doesnt like 1P, it's hard to imagine how good he would be at it if he liked it & played it more often.

Yeah, I do not know, but I imagine that most young players do not like 1 pocket. Most young players probably prefer faster games, like 9 ball. I understand that all of the young players that are on the pro level (at any game) do play 1 pocket though, and very well. But just because they are very good at the game does not mean that they really enjoy playing it.

and that what makes him so scary - him and fedor gorst
if you want to play them better hurry

So just how good is Gorst? I seen him play a little at the DCC on Saturday. He did not seem to have an egotistical style to playing (if that makes any sense).

Bergman just gave him 9-7 and heisted him a few months ago

Maybe players (even at the pro level) play at different speeds when playing at a tournament vs playing in money games. I do not know about Thorpe though. I do not know anything about any of the players actually, and am pretty clueless about the entire pool scene.

Aren't you playing him 10-ahead for $20K ?
He gets to shoot with a mop and wear Dennis's slippers?

John admitted he got outplayed, so one cannot discredit the Thorpe.

I believe John hasn't played his best pool since that fateful night: 10.1.2006.

But Billy is ridin the wave, ya know...

2006? That's a long time ago, didn't know John has been retired for a decade....hmmmm.

If you want a shot at the title, you gotta play John Brumback! 8-10 ahead for the cash!
Loser can reload! first to 'tapout ' is the champ!

First of all he's 16 years old. Stroke was percise and smooth as anyone on the planet. He went pretty deep in banks and 9 ball and played well on the 10 footer. He definitely is a beast for his age and he was very well composed. If he continues, we will see his name many more times.

Gorst finished t-11th at DCC 9b 2016. Pretty amazing a 15-16yr old traveling from Russia and finishing that deep.
