Soft cue cases?

I like a soft case. I usually carry an envelope 1x2. very sleek, light and hugely cool looking.
Others have made alot of comments about cue protection and support. A rigid case should be better if there is alot of hard knocks involved, however my experience shows if you take precautions to be watchful, there just ain't that much that goes wrong while the cues are in the case. In my opinion, most cues get hurt while in use. If you like a soft case, go for it. If you like a minnie golf bag with lots of cues and pockets, go for it. The main thing is to be happy, after all, we do this for enjoyment.
 
Hahaha ...i have seen a guy with a jack justis case protecting a lucassi hahahah ...kinda doesnt make any sence if your case cost more than your cue

Maybe the case was a gift, Maybe he liked the hit of the cue that much, There are many possabilities.
 
No he said he bought it...and to be honest i dont really care what cue you have or case to be honest..i was only poking ... hell you can have a duffrin in there if he wanted ..if he can afford the jack justis then so be it..heck if i could i would own one..

This isn't farfetched. I once had a lady show up at the booth and ask me for a price on a pink and white 3x7. She was dripping in diamonds and had a pink shirt on and was carrying a hot pink McDermott soft case.

I told her the retail price of $479 and she asked to see it. So I got it down and showed it to her. She looked at it for about 2 minutes and said "I'll take it".

Then she pulled out one single cue with one shaft out of her pink soft case and it was a pink $25 cue from J&J. She paid me that was that.

One of the strangest things I have seen.

Probably her vv expensive cue is at home..
 
John Barton and I are talking about having him make me a soft sided case with hard case tubes and room for some pouches for my "stuff".

Maybe thiis is what you need? I sort of made my own by taking the cue sleeves out of my Silver Fox BR2 and then taking the pockets off of it. It holds the 2x3 hard tubes I want but won't hold them flat so I'm thinking of having John make me one that will hold 2x3 flat.

Why? Because that's what I want. It would be in the works now but the tax man bit me pretty hard lately. :eek:

The top soft case in my book by far was the "It's George" suede soft case with the burlap accesory pouch. Though they don't make them anymore, if you see one for sale snatch it up.

I think the inside used to be a fake sheepskin or something plush like that.
