when I ordering a new custom cue, I'd like to see what's gonna like when it's finished.
what kinda software you guys use for cue drawing/design?

thx:)

Imagination, version 1.01
Seriously, I have to see the cue in my head before I can build it.
I suppose you could do the initial mock-up in Auto-Cad/3-D.

#2 pencil, my hands version me and some colored pencils lol, i really want to get a drawing pad for my computer, had one at the CIS dept in college and it was sweet...and that would be the nuts

Autodesk Fusion360 is free for the first year for non-commercial/hobby/entrepreneur use. And it's CAD/CAM as well! Also has a renderer. Don't use it myself, as I use a different CAM system.

There was someone here that used AutoCAD for some real nice renderings but I can't remember who it was.

I believe it was me your speeking of. I had posted some pics of models back in 07 and ypu had messaged me about the software I was using. I use autodesk inventor

Fusion 360 is a cad cam package. If you did technical drawing at school/ drafting, you will find the 360 a lot easier to use. It is not the same as solidworks, but I like it. It has loads of tutorials that are really good as well. You can put materials for the different parts and can easily customise the materials and their densities etc. It will give quite good results.
I like Kelly's Cue balance program. It has lots of potential and Kelly has good instructions and the best support for his products.
