Sold My Black Boar w/ Lomax J/b & Look What Happened>>Sacrilege or Saver

It would be like a temporary devaluation.
Actually he won't sell them, I tried to buy them back just before I handed him the allen wrenches

They look like rubber springs for bouncing the cue on the floor. Take them off when he's not looking.:eek:

You think you're upset now?
Wait till he discovers push-on tips.:rolleyes:

I think you should steal them back and send them to me; i would take much better care of them !!!

That looks ridiculous. He's definitely going to Pool Hell, where he will be forced to play bar-box 8 ball with Push&Pool for all eternity.

What do those things actually do? Sounds like they are just bumpers? I though they were some kind of shock absorbers for vibration when stroking the ball (or something?).

Let's say you were out on a boat and it capsized, you could use it as a foot pump to blow up the rubber life boat.

Or you could dance with it on stage without cracking the butt cap, if you were pretending to be Al Jolson singing Mammy.

I'm still having difficulty tying in what these have to do with saving limbs... :confused:

is it that these are ordinarily made of wood and so making them out of rubber will save tree limbs? :confused: :confused:

I (for some reason) thought they somehow dampened the shock from hitting the ball for old guys (you've heard about them, you've seen them, they are old, not like us), but I can't get a straight answer outta Ted (as opposed to say me, how always answers directly without spin).

Is the shock they save your limbs from created from tapping the butt of your cue on the floor? Can't be. Can it?

Can anyone say what these things are supposed to do (don't make me Google)?

Well, I saw Grady selling these at a tournament in Chicago area. He was at the vendor booth, and I asked him about the product. He told me they were for "absorbing the hit" so there would not be any "vibration" in the cue. I didn't understand it... I assumed it was just for guys who miss a lot and slam their cues into the floor....

So, I asked him did I have to buy one (I think they were like $20) to get his autograph, and he said no, he's give me an autograph even if I didn't buy it.

Well, I got the autograph and passed on the LS.... cause I just didn't understand what it was for ????

There's an Old Timer at Jointed Cue in Sactown who
swears by these gadgets and has them on a bunch of his
Custom Cues.

His game still sucks, so maybe they ain't doin' there job.

My daddy owned a 1969 Mint Corvette Stingray....

He sold it to a guy who proceeded to rip out the interior to have it made handicap friendly.

Daddy always shook his head over that but said he made the decision to sell it...he could not control what the guy did to it.

Here you go, Kevin (apparently it's a great innovation! :):

Overview

The new LimbSaver™ X-1 is the greatest innovation in cue stick technology since the leather tip. Whether you are an enthusiast or a pro, the LimbSaver™ X-1 is a must-have!

Cue Stick Vibration can cause the tip to wander, greatly decreasing accuracy. The LimbSaver™ X-1 Cue Stick Stabilizer keeps the tip on the ball longer!

The stabilizing effect of the X-1 leads to:

* Dampened vibration of your cue stick
* Enhanced energy on your break
* Consistent English
* Controlled spin

Yikes :yikes:, :scratchhead: Some days I feel dumber than others:rolleyes:... I've read all of the comments and I'm still not sure why anyone would want those retarded looking things. :barf: :slap:

Full Moons:
On a duce lakester even. Trampsteamer, you have great taste in cars.

One problem with Limbsavers is they weigh an ounce. Do you really want an ounce on the back of your cue?
