Some 14.1 Shots

great shots

Thanks for sharing these!
However, it would be even much better if you had one slide before each movie explaining the hit on the cueball, speed, cueball starting area and the aiming point on the object ball.
Anyways great stuff!

I see the man is Back....

Glad to see it, you write some great stuff here. and i would hate to see you gone forever like the one post said

Genisis, thanks for the shots. great idea! rep goes out to you !!!!!

Sorry, man. Looks like a lot of work went into them.

Quality is very good.

The shots are mostly shots that no one would ever shoot in a match.

Thanks,
I have seen and tried some of these already, but its great to have them in a high quality video where you can see exactly where the cue ball is hitting.

a bit sad for that low response. ;-(

This is my suggestion:

Try adding commentary that explains each shot, or combining these into one video that you can post on youtube, Google, or Veoh. Having the videos separated like that makes it very tedious, and actually takes away from the effectiveness of the videos. It gets tiresome to have to click, save, etc. Just a suggestion, It took me a while, but I saved all of the videos and I am appreciative that you took the time to make them and post them here.

that dividing angle on the eightball shot is wicked! does that have be two frozen balls against the eight instead of one? and HAVE to be frozen? sorry would try if i was beside a table but i wasn't.

Well in some cases you are frustrated, inferior or just perfekt. in that shape, sometimes it is good to shoot it, and it is quite good to know some specials, and try that when you need alternation or relaxation. Sometimes you can impress your nephews or similiar ;-)

Just some special arrangement of that balls are doing that "magic". It works like a double kiss and the "secret" is that the 2nd / 3rd ball is killing the first movement and stoping the previous ball, yes they have to be frozen - in that case, but it is possible to do that with space between the balls.

These are great, and obviously took a lot of time. Thanks for posting them.

I'm brand new to straight pool. I obviously have a TON to learn, because it involves types of shots that I would never encounte in 8 ball or 9 ball. Time for me to start studying up.

Well Thank you dude, but do not "waste" time to learn that in the beginning. Use it just for information ;-)

That's cool, because those shots where you shoot straight into the rack with the confidence that the corner ball will go in the corner pocket are pretty daunting to me.

Most of them are about 1MB.
Some old std. closed rack-shots
...
Windows Media Player almost plays them, but stops with a complaint about the audio device. Does anyone else have this problem? I can play other avi files OK.

These are great videos. Anyway you can put them into one long video? I could do it if they were .mov.
