Some nice old ebony

Hi Mom!

I have always thought this combo looked so good on these old cues. This one has a war wound at one of the inlays on the forearm (not pictured) Funny thing is that when it's in your hand you hardly see it because its so dark.

Small world, I just got one of those in ebony, it was the only one I ever saw in ebony. Now I've seen two. PM me if you're selling this one, they are classy cues

Gotta love it!

Curious...how long is that cue Jayman?

I had a nice one in Rosewood...nice piece of wood. I have others that are similar but not in ebony.

The woods in these cues can be surprising.

Thanks for showing off! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Terribly ugly war wound

you need to get rid of this before it grows

I might be interested in buying it

Simply to help you out ,of course

Really great cue
send me a price

deanoc, your just too kind!
Hey chopdoc, It's a 57 inch cue.
And I haven't decided whether to let it go or keep it, But It does have a chip missing. so I'd have to consider what value to put on it. Anyway, I sure do like it.

That would go away with a refinish...…

Ebony is pretty forgiving with repairs, I had a large missing part of an ebony point replaced by Ernie M. years ago and you couldn't see the repair at all. I finally got a half decent picture of it where the flash or light reflection didn't cover it over.

Never seem to see that kind of lucite or acrylic anymore, even on tribute cues. Has it gone out of style with cuemakers, or is it unavailable?

In the 70's on old cues it could sometimes tend to be cracked. Then again, every now & then some of the owners were too.
