Some Thuya burl for Dom

Finally got this player done for Dom. He wanted plain and simple, I think the wood really stands out on this cue. He wanted to leave a thin black ring above the wrap and it really worked well with the black ring at the bottom of the butt cap and the joint ring. Naturally, it had to have a white with single black spec linen wrap.

Kenny, you did it a again buddy. Wow. That burl is wicked. Thanks again
for a great looking cue. I know it's gonna hit awesome. I'll be in Myrtle beach
the week after next. I'll be at Shore thing at least twice. If anyone wants to
see and hit the cues, they're more than welcome.

This cue is just sick loooooooking, bad a$$
Sweet veneers, they really look good with burl points.

I wish I could take it for a quick drive. That sure is a pretty cue. The veneers are tight!

come out out to Cleveland some time.:) Hopefully, we'll both be at the
Expo next year. Oh, and if you wanna take a quick vacation the week
after next, it will be in Myrtle beach with me. Shore Thing Billiards has

Thank you very much for the offer. My vacation time is almost all used up. I am heading to Bermuda next month on a cruise out of New York. It should be fun.

I will definitely be at the SBE next year. My room is already reserved. I am also looking forward to receiving an ebony on ebony Hoppe cue there.


I'll let you guess who the maker is... :rolleyes:

Maybe just maybe Kenny will send the cue to me by some kind of weird, crazy mistaking address mix up. I`ll gladly give it back to you next year at the SBE. Just kidding with ya buddy
Kenny knocked this bad boy out of the park by a mile. She will be in good hands with you my friend. I can`t wait to see this cue in person.

You need to make it down to Cincinnati for one of Shannon's GSBT events at Michael's Billiards. We would have a great time hanging out and talking cues.

Thanks all for the great compliments on the cue. I appreciate it. As for the
wood and the veneer colors. All kudos go to Kenny. That was all his doing.
I just get to keep the gorgeous cue.:grin:

A while back I was asking some fellow AZ members as I was interested in trying some new cue makers I haven't tried before and a lot of you said Kenny Murrell. Well I took your advice and got on the build list. WoW, Kenny is making some GREAT cues, and I'm super glad I did. He is the ONLY cue builder that I have ever dealt with who actually sent (ME) an email and kept in touch with me about my cue and went over veneer colors, ect. Anyhow great cue DOM, great job Kenny,can't wait to get mine. Now I have another couple in mind after seeing this one. Dan
