Before watching this please understand that I haven't touched a cue in at least 6 months. I know for sure this is my first time shooting pool this year. I honestly don't remember the last time I shot pool was. My case smelled all musty when I opened it too. ugggh! Anyway, trust me, these are the highlights of the night and even then there's nothing to wow anyone. And before anyone calls me out, yes, the 3 rail bank on the 4 was a fluke, I was playing one rail, so you can see how far I was off. Not to mention there was enough spin on the ball to bring it back like that. Sad, just sad, but I enjoyed myself. There are a few trick shots at the end but nothing you haven't seen or done yourself probably a thousand times over. As for my comment after sinking the 9, I was kidding. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

It racks exactly the same either way. They turn it around like that when the front end gets a little bend in it.

And I didn't put it there. I use the rack. Old school stubborness I guess
 
You were a little loose, but not bad at all for a 6 month layoff. Feels good dont it? ;)

Yeah, it felt real good to be playing again. But man was my back hurting the next day. I've put on so much weight that my stomach was really in the way on the reaching shots. I'm not saying that is the reason I missed that 9, I really came up short on the position I wanted, but my gut was really in the way all night. I probably would have missed that 9 anyway though. haha!!

Thanks, man. I'm gonna try to get back to the tables a little more regularly. If for nothing else I could use the exercise. I've gotten waaay too fat. I'm carrying about 380 right now.

Im not trying to knock the kid or anything or try and belittle him this is just an observation, but he breaks like a lot of the asian women do with a huge upswing and smooth follow through.

He owns a car shop, I bought my car from him actually. He is currently ranked in the B class. He shoots pretty straight, he just hasn't been able to win any tournaments. The cue he shoots with is the SouthWest I use to own, and then sold to him obviously. I've gotten on him a billion times about that break. It's too late though, it's already in the bag and he's not big on making changes.

If I could shoot like that after taking 6 months off, I would take 6 months off all the time. I think you shot great. I wish I could shoot that well.

Well, I surely do appreciate the kind words, but I want to be clear that these were the highlights. Hehe. I dogged many a ball that would make you go "really?!?". Ha! But watching the video myself makes me want to get back a little more often.

Doesn't "Superman" Gomez have that same REAL high arc in his back swing? That's the first thing I thought about when I saw his break.
