Someone found the Secret to Great Cue Photos.....

Top Quality Photos of a Cues. This is like the best I have seen on AZB...BARRING NONE!:)

Those are nice! And,it seems, to my totally untrained eye, that there is very little extra equipment used or necessary. A high resolution camera, a bright light and a blue blanket and viola!

A SONY point n shoot was used. I checked the exif data. Yes point n shoots can take very nice pics if you know how to use it within it's parameters

The proper lighting using angles to deflect glare, a good background, and a descent camera will produce great cue pictures. Maybe not that good, but good pictures.

From my limited knowledge of cameras, it looks like an SLR camera was used without the flash with plenty of surrounding light.

I say an slr, because I have one and it does the same thing with putting things in focus . And the was deffinatly uses of angles to do away with the glare from the finish on the cue.

Much props for the great shots, I am gonna try to play around with my settings and are if I can get some good shots of my new carmelli

Thanks

Probably used the macro setting on those close ups of the joint and butt end too.

Thanks to you for the kind words Guys ... very appreciate them.

Well there isnt a big Story or Secret behind those pictures.

I use a simple Poketcamera and direct SUNlight ... the rest is just a question to find the right angle ... ahh and not to forget the "Macro" option.

I don't know if there a some special technical features inside my Camera .. but it just works somehow :grin-square:

Here is a pic of the Model i use .....
