Sorry Barry, I don't understand

This was the third year (IN A ROW) that my US Open VIP seats were no where near where they were supposed to be. Every year I buy my seats 6 months in advance according to his online seating chart and when I get there I'm told "we had to change that" and it's never for the better either. I took a weeks vac and drove all the way down there on Tuesday & turned around & went home on Wednesday... After 17 straight events there this was my last, sorry Barry I don't understand:mad:

That happened to me more than once as well. Once i was supposed to be on an aisle and i was no where near it and another time my VIP placard was out at the end of the table past the legs. I was 1/2 in the aisle. Still another time my seat was fine but during the finals it became a free for all with people KNEELING behind every seat and there was no way for me to get to my paid-for seat, I gave up on the VIP thing also.

Two years for my wife and I. Never again. Barry just doesn't care about the open. Players, fans, or otherwise. We plan on going to DCC or Turning Stone next year instead of wasting my money and time. I wish it was a better situation.

You're dealing with an alcoholic that pulls the same crap yearly. Do you actually expect things to improve? Stay home.

never again

After 25 years or possibly more,I will never be going again, and when I got back to my local room I told everybody that was planning on going the next day how sorry it was ,and no one went-

This is really unfortunate to hear. The U S Open should be one of, if not the premier Nine Ball event. I have never attended but have bough many DVD's over the years. However, after editing, they never revealed what I saw this year watching the live streams.

The event is amateur hour. I think any local grammar school could put on a more professional production. Anyone involved in this fiasco should be ashamed. The fans, players, and the sport, are entitled to a better representation of such a championship.

As long as things like this exist, pool will remain in the shadows. I am sorry to hear how you have been treated as supportive and caring fans.

You will be thoroughly impressed with the spectator atmosphere of turning stone. It is the premiere event for players and spectators when it comes to accessibility, view, and luxury. The next one is the beginning of January. Hope to see you there!

I can vouch for Turning Stone too. There is no better venue that I have personally been to than this one. I love it there. Everything is under one roof.

Plenty of room in the pool arena. Players don't bump into each other. On-site hotel is excellent quality. An abundance of places to eat with good food.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Love this place. :)

That looks like it's gonna be my new spot. I really do hate to come on here with negative s&%t about the US Open but I really can only take so much.

If I were going to pick an event...it would be the derby. But then again I'd rather have the ability to watch several games over a few days than just 9 ball.

KK9 & a couple of buddies didn't go this year, for the 1st time in forever. his guys who did, called last night and today, biotching about the same thing!

(and if you heard some loud white-haired guy - that was Fat Albert)
