I would just like to say soorry if I offended anyone on this forum. I am playing bad!!! It effects me in all ways! Last week i was winning local tourneys... and this week i couldn't beat a C player. What is it? I was practicing well on my home table and running out for 2 hours, I got to the tourney tonight and could not make a ball. I was extremely embarresed! My side betters were angry and telling me " How could you lose this match"! Does it really come and go? I feel like an idiot, loser, bad player! Isn't it funny how pool can make you feel great and bad. I have had a terrible week and I am soory to offend anyone in AZ Forums, and especially Grady Mathews! I just got the Jimmy Reid DVDS and was playing great and thinking to myself... He makes since! I tried his analogies and was ready to walm out the door and win a local... Boy, was I wrong. I played like a complete LOSER!

I feel your pain

I had a bad leauge night last night but I plan on doing it again next week .
Seems like when I am not thinking about it I play my best .When I go in "thinking" about what I need to do I make goofy mistakes .I like you
think tooo much .I used to meditate maybe its time to try that again

Tomorrow is another day, and so long as we learn something from the mistakes we all make today we can only become a better and wiser human being.

Have a great night

There's some great advice. And anyone who will stand up and admit they may have been out of order is OK in my book. Not enough people have the balls to do that these days.

Ever see the movie Tin Cup? Turn your hat around backwards. Put all your change in your left pocket. Tie your left shoe in a couble knot. Now, hit the dam ball.

Go back to drawing board try and work on you fundamentals, I see you mentioned in another post that you booked a lesson with Earl, which is a good start.

Above all, forget about your bad play from earlier. Don't take that negative energy with you from day to day.

Fast davie you must have been sitting beside us all evening,I'm big guy with an older friend sitting at the rail talking to Earl about coming up to Charlotte for some lessons we were at tables 2 and 3 in the taller stools with a table top.--Leonard

Hey, Yes I remember the conversation you had with Earl! What a great tourney! Wish we could have met and talked some. Have a great Day!

If you're referring to my pm, good. I was at the tournament 'til just after the second round started. Really wanted to see Earl play, but didn't feel too well, so went home a lot earlier than usual. Wish I'd known you were there. Maybe next time.
