Check out this beautiful Downey custom! Troy had intended to take it to the Expo, but it sold the day after it was finished! :thumbup:

Amboyna burl - six points of ivory - 3 veneers and m.o.p. inlays
Amboyna sleeve with 6 ivory box veneered windows, also with pearl inlay.
Ivory joint, and nickel silver and ivory ringwork
Textured black leather wrap

That is by far the nicest Downey I have ever seen. Congrats on the cue, it is incredible!!!
 
Simply awesome

This layout and color scheme is righ up my alley, perfectly symetrical just like I like to see a cue.

I agree this IS the nicest Downey ever built. Thanks for postingth pictures. Would haveoved to see it at the Expo.

Thanks for the kind words - Troy pops in here now and again, and I am sure he would say thanks also. This was a cue that was flawlessly executed, and there will be more to come. Hopefully more people will give Troy's work a closer look, it's worth it!
 
Great cue....obviously very well-made and WAY attractive design. You can't hide things in that kind of inlay work, and Troy seems to have done a great job with it. :thumbup:
