Hello!
I have a South West Cue that I ordered in 1993 and received in 1999. It is in perfect condition, never been chalked or even hit. It is ebony and cocobolo with 6 points and AB rings with a box design above and below the wrap. Any idea how to figure out what it is worth?
Thanks!

If it's unhit I don't see how it could be worth less than $3500, and I am only throwing that number out as a "floor", as in, I have absolutely no southwest experience but that has to be the minimum.

As said, show it to "ga9ball" (Greg Antonakos). Knows all there is to know about SW cues...

Coco and ebony is my favorite wood combo...

IMO that's THEE southwest to own...someone overseas will pay big money for that one. I'd hold onto it for a few years, I could have sworn I read hat SW was no longer making cues with ebony? They're already hard to come by, I'd assume it will appreciate with time. I'm no SW expert by any means though, ''tis a beautiful cue for sure.

Yeah,,, I wouldn't sell it.. You are going to have the SouthWest Contingent sniffing around you to get you to sell it to them.

However, if you do sell it, just know that you will never ever be able to replace it. EVER

The Southwest contingent will make it worth his time!😁

I have an Ebony and Birdseye that I got about 6 years ago (I would have to verify the exact year it is). Brand new - unchalked. I had Kevin Cheng (US Open champ) offer me $5,000 for it. I turned him down.......hope that helps in you determining the price.

And yes - unless you are special - she is still not making ebony cues and cocobolo is now a higher priced wood on their order sheet.

I thought SW 6 pointers were all high points. Learn something new every day.

You are right. I only have a few posts and was really looking for opinions. I went to a cue show in Baltimore in 1992 and decided to order the cue in 1993. Between ordering it and receiving it in 1999, I purchased a Bender that I was playing with when my SW arrived. I decided to never hit the SW.
