...Dress Code: Absolutely NO Jeans or white tennis shoes. Polo shirts or mocks shirts must be tucked in your pants. If you wear tennis shoes they must be black....
I think he abandoned us.
I was looking forward to some names of those who will be playing (if he knows) and finding out what a mocks shirt is. Nobody here has a clue. Anyone out there know?
Okay, Rik. I have a problem with this dress code. I never heard of a mocks shirt, before. And, you'll find me in a dress sooner than you'll find me in a polo shirt.Collars just mess with me.
You didn't say if t-shirts are allowed and I'm thinking from the sounds of things, they aren't. I obviously need a description of a mocks shirt, though. I never heard of that in my life. (Neither have our boys.) I've heard of t-shirts, polo shirts, sweat shirts, hoodies, button-up shirts, undershirts/A-shirts/wife-beaters, smocks, blouses, etc.. Never, ever heard of a mocks shirt.
I'm thinking I'm probably going to have to go shopping to be at this event.![]()
Can you name some of the players that might be playing in the tourny and what it might cost to get on to watch or what it will cost to get in and see the vendor booths?
JesPiddlin,
That dress code is for the pool tournament. That was a cut and paste of an article from the front page of AZbilliards Headlines. As for the Mocks Shirt, California Kim was using some of that west coast lingo. Scott R is correct. It is a non button thick collared shirt. Guys wear them on the golf course and under Tweed jackets.

If you are interested in exhibiting, please get in contact with me. We only have a few spots left. The event is being held in conjunction with the Gem City 10 Ball Classic at Johnny Archer's and Kim Davenport's Pool Room in Marietta Georgia.
Thank you,
Rik
