Southwest on Ebay....$30K

"Also buyer of this cue pays all Ebay fees"

I don't think that is in compliance with with Ebay policy. He also refers to the wrap as a "grip". Kinda weird...

South West

I have seen pics of these cues before but I would have never expected them to be sold on E-bay let alone for that kind of money. Well I guess the Tuxedo Collection was posted up there a while back.

I googled the phone number and it's for a guy named Jim that is connected with the River City Open. FYI.

I wouldn't imagine....

I wouldn't imagine the first cue to be worth more than 10K and the second not more than 25K...

Maybe I'm just out of it though....

The first one isn't a Franklin south west, so I wouldn't imagine that the inscribed ivory would make it worth that much more than a standard South West.

The second one should be a Franklin which will boost it's value and it's a rather fancy one, so I can see 25-30K but not over twice that...

But hell, it's based on what some people are willing to pay I guess. I doubt he'll have much luck selling them, especially wanting to charge the ebay fees to the buyer...lol

My question is how can someone owning a supposedly $65K South West cue not even know that it's "South West" and not "Southwest"?

Maybe the seller is like the guy who got paid to empty out a storage unit and dispose of or keep its contents which included an untouched Shelby Cobra rolling chassis.

Pawn Stars

Gotta love that show. Did anyone see the recent article on the internet about the 1966 Herts 350GT red mustang found in a storage unit of an apartment in Kansas? It looks untouched since 85' and is in great condition except for some minor molding in the interior. Car runs/drives and is all original with the documentation proving it's the real deal.

Love to own one of those SW's but, come on, somebody needs to put the crack pipe away and get a grip.

Surprised eBay hasn't knocked this off

It is violation of eBay policy to ask Buyer to pay any of the fees. eBay fee will be at least $2,000 and PayPal fee would be another $1,500 or so. Plus eBay now requires Seller to pay all shipping and insurance costs, which in this case exceeds the USPS limit for insured shipping.

So I guess we'll have to spend about $70,000 and drive to River City to get this cue? The price of gas breaks my camel's back.
