I would wait to talk to Ed or David, because I seriously doubt her ability to differentiate between the makers of these older cues. Laurie knows her stuff but I believe most of these predates "predate" her cue knowledge.

to me it's not the same cue. I think the one from 3cushion is rosewood and yours is macassar ebony. The bumper seems to be different also, but could have easily been changed. I think it's a pre-date southwest.

Laurie was there in the begining,I think her word is trustworthy and accurate

i know she is trustworthy, but i would wait to here from David or Ed; unless you really want to find out the easiest way to turn a 6K cue into a 3K cue....

So..........are you suggesting that Ed or David can more accurately authenticate a pre-date South West Cue than Laurie Franklin? Really? That's what you're going with?

If you wish to authenticate a cue that you think is a Kersenbrock or pre-date South West you can send it to a lot of people. If you really want to know who made it.....send it to Laurie. She's the one with almost 30 years of documentation and cue measurements as well as having the benefit of being there from the beginning.

Regards, Roger

Please post a photo of the inside of the butt with the bumper remove many of Davids cues are different in that location than South West cues even the early ones.

Also don't forget that David was sending his cues to Jerry to have them finished during the 1980's and even during the early 1990's, South West may have records of the designs or even photo's of the cues.

I'll second that
