Does any have the URL for the SouthWest website? I plan to order a 9 pointer with all the rings, how much will that cost me?

No website about 8-10 year waiting list.

I don't believe they have a web site. I hope you are willing to wait about 8-9 years to recieve your cue.

Best advise is to buy a SW now. Pay the premium and put in a order to SW now. You may wait 7 to 8 years and they may go out of business or you may give up playing pool by then because you weren't playing with one.

Don't worry about the preimum because you can always get your money back.

Laurie will no longer give pricing. The wait is 8+ years. Your best bet is to get one on the secondary market. Vince Tedesco usually has a couple of new cues available.

A little off topic, but I think if you have a waiting list over two years, you simply are not charging anough for your product. BAD CAPITALIST!

I think it's because they don't require a deposit. If everyone were required to put down $350 per cue, I think the list would be at least half of the current wait. Currently, you can reserve two cues a year. It's also common practice to reserve 2 cues for consecutive years. That means that there are individuals waiting on 16+ cues right now without so much as dropping a single penny until completion.

I think SW makes great cues, but I think they could use lesson or two in logistics.

I just recently jumped on the SW bandwagon. I don't know if they're worth all the cash or the hype, but they sure are nice. They hit great also.

I order two 1999 or 2000, hell i can't remember anymore. I will only keep one though, I plan to sell the other to cover the cost of the first. She has contacted me about 4 months ago to tell me my name was in the shoot and will call back to finalize the plans on what I want. If you are still in the market, you can have (BUY) one that has had one owner and only slightly played with. OF COURSE I AM GOING TO HIT THEM BOTH!! but not for long just to pick a favorite and to show the world that I currently have two of them in my case. :D

I'm leaning towards tablemechanic's. I'll keep you in mind though.

I don't believe a deposit would make much of a difference on the number of orders, if someone is going to sweat about putting up a $ 350.00 deposit I think the price range of these cues may be a little out of that person's financial reach and they really don't desire to have the cue.

Plus you can a buy a South West new or used on the secondary market anytime, there are always SW's for sale.

The wait time is a beneficial to the typical buyer, the cue increases in value, new and used. I will take 2 a year and be real happy.

There is like no real downside on ordering a South West.

I do agree the 'no deposit' drives up the long wait... lotsa tire kickers i think on that 9 year list :-( if you want one... get one on the secondary market... i had 5 little while ago, now i'm down to the 3 'i just can't part with' LOL

lots to look at HERE: http://www.indyq.com/custom/southwest/
