Spalted Afzelia Burl

This is professionally stabilized spalted Afzelia Burl. Rings were made with black phenolic and more of the same Afzelia. Shafts have same matching ring work. Cue was made by Rob Harris. More specs, pics and review to follow

Thanks for the nice comments. I like this piece because it shows a range of grain and color. There are spalted parts of it that look like Buckeye burl, and others that look like Amboyna, and others yet that could be Maple burl. Super chatoyant with light shimmering as the cue is moved. (hard to tell in my amateur pics tho)

For those that wonder about using stabilized wood and the weight........

With the 1st shaft total weight is 19.5

With the 2nd shaft total weight is 19.3
