Hey The Baby's Arm,
I do not know Jason's last name, the man that Sparkey sucker punched.
I've been seeing Jason around Atlanta of & on since year 2000. Some in this area refer to "Boston Jason", as I recall.
The Jason involved in this case is a standup guy & I've never seen him step out of line.
After all he only ask Sparky a simple question & Sparky went OFF.

I'm fairly new to the forum so I probably missed discussions on the topic of putting people's name "on the street", but I think it's a really important topic. I think Fluidstroke's post was totally proper since he was an eyewitness (corroborated by another poster) and what went down seems pretty hard to 'splain away. I've met Sparky a few times and liked him, but I'll be a little cautious in the future in any dealings with him. I think reporting events that occurred, which is what Fluidstroke did, as opposed to gossip, innuendo and trashtalkin', is providing a service to the pool community. IMO, if you were there, report it; but, if you heard a rumor or "think you may be right", keep it to yourself or in the local pool room. Good job, Fluidstroke.

Lamar25, you did not see me at the IPT Qualifier in Marietta, GA because I was in Providence, RI (LOL)!

The intention of my post was to ask how Sparky was hitting the balls during the IPT Qualifier, and although there seems to be many eyewitnesses to the sucker-punching incident, I was curious as to how some of the players, to include Sparky, were hitting them during the competition.

I agree its sad to see a player of Sparkeys speed in a condition that could create a problem like this. This could very well end his possible career in the IPT.

Because the incident happened in the off hours around the IPT qualifier in Atlanta this past January.

That took some guts and character...well said.

It would be easy to make some excuses and get a bit of revenge for harsh words directed at you. That likely would have just inflamed the situation, so a wise decision.

Let us give some break to sparky.He has been sincerely trying to make some changes in his life.I always liked sparky and I will continue to like him.He found Jesus and he has been making a sincere effort to be a christian.when I last met him in las Vegas during the pro tournament in Bineon casino last month he looked & acted like a preppy kid.With regards sucker punch ,what can I say ...he being a Sagitarian likes to get sporty now and then.
please give him a break and he is sincere in his attempts to be a Christian.

Now, I think it's quite funny that you admire Sparky for following Christianity yet ascribe his "sporty" nature to Astrology. I think it's hilarious how often we combine superstitions and religions without even realizing we are doing it. We are certainly a collective of all the world's religions and practices, using what we want at whim, without even knowing really why.

I am eclectic in my beliefs.I know why I do what I do and know why I say what I say.
Your appear to be an astute oberver & analyser and have detective qualities.The things u reflect thru your posts,as per my wild guess, have the appearence of the traits of a scorpio. Are u? By the way I am not an astrologer.I stayed in Holiday Inn Express.cheers
