Hey folks,
I our own AZ'er Bob levartze took some shots at the Surf City Billiards at the California Pool Players Tour, he took this shot of me. I always plays with a Sugartree but at the time I was trying my SW (dang it).
The shirt is there and I do not see myself playing with any other cue besides my Sugartrees (the SW is my backup cue).

The t-shirt is the TAR Sugartree shirt. It was a cool picture that was all. Love that Sugar!!!

I'm jealous....:embarrassed2:

I was late on the t-shirts too. By the time I got out of work that day, they were sold out.:shakehead:

Hey, at least you have hair.

Just bustin'

How did you do in the tournament?

Not very good. I won 2 and lost 2 I think.
If I would have played as well as Eric's cues play I would have won the tournament.

come on man don't be so vague. who'd you beat? who'd you lose to? what were the scores? how did you play? i know you're no world beater i just mean are you happy with your performance? was it as good better or worse than you would have liked?

don't think of the tournament as something fun to do. think of it as an opportunity to put yourself in a pressure situation and see where your game's really at. nothing exposes weaknesses in your game like adrenaline and pressure.

That is exactly what I have been doing lately. I wish I had more time for practice. I am going to try going back on my weekend home drills.

it's more about quality than it is quantity. i made a huge improvement in my game only playing 2 hours a day 2-3 days a week.

you should try to stop by and practice with Jeff at his house if you and him can ever set up a time. playing jeff the few times i have has really helped me out. i'm hitting the ball better and focusing better.

I talked to Jeff about it and he is ok with it. That is what I plan to do as well..

I give you credit Tony. At least you still play in tournaments and try.

Since my sons were born, pool has been put on the back shelf. I am playing a little more than I used to but it's not like when I practically lived in a pool hall. I even "retired" from playing in the APA. There were more reasons than just time alone. I figure in a few more years I can start playing in local tournaments again. But I was never a world beater to begin with but I enjoy the challenge and especially the adrenaline rush.

Just my .02 cents,
Chris

What happened to the Kikel? I think you change cues as often as you change your ......?
