I believe sponsors expect that events are not only advertised, but post tournament results are also posted. I see many tours/tournaments,
hyped prior to the event ,with no results ever posted unless someone specifically asks.
Write a nice little follow up and thank your sponsors.;)
Just my unsolicited 2cents,Jack

You are right on. Not doing a follow up and thank your sponsors is poor business practice. Johnnyt

Exactly, its just a good business practice.
When a sponsor feels like they are taken for granted, they might
feel differently the next time someone knocks on their door.

A pat on the back and acknowledgment goes a long way.

The way pool has been conducted through the years strongly suggests that no one gives a sh!*. This apathetic and unbusiness-like practice has become part of the pool zeitgeist, don't you think? Ie, no one knows how to conduct pool in a business-like manner....never did. Specific to your complaint, I don't see why the posting of follow-up news on a pool event should be priority #1 to said pool event's sponsor. It won't add to his business. His product is already known and seen by those who care. I might also suggest that any news follow-up would be an out of pocket expense that no one is willing to pony up in a sport that pays out very little.

Follow-ups, it seems, only matter to fans who want to know wtf happened.:)
