Could someone tell me what site the picture was originally hotlinked from? I completely understand the hotlinking issue but a simple picture that says "no hotlinking" suffices. I didn't see the picture(s) but from the sounds of it, it was disgusting. I'd like to report the issue to the appropriate ISP.

Dave made a mistake and hotlinked to an image. This burns up bandwidth for the site hosting the image without actually giving them any visitors. One way to get hot linker's attention as folks have already mentioned is to replace the picture with something really vile. Some sites even automatically redirect you when they think you are hot linking I believe.
Blackjack didn't post porn on here nor was his account hacked. He stepped on somebody's toes and they got his attention . . . and anyone else's who opened his post before the hot link was deleted. I'm against blindsiding people with porn and I'm against hot linking. In this case, there was two wrongs and no right although I suspect Dave's hot linking was accidental.
No need to hunt for a hacker.

Moral on the posting... Never hotlink as you won't know what image will be placed on it. Copy the pix and put it on your Photobucket or of similar site then credit the creator.
I was one of the few people who saw that appalling pix and when I hit quote, it was a hotlink, hence I didn't continue the qoute and also didn't bad rep BJ.
