Something is seriously wrong if they can't fill up with 64 class players for the kick-off event of the new WPA Tour!
After all, this tournament have no entry fee and $ 80,000 in pricemoney.
We know why the top Filipino's arent there, but why arent players such as Niels Feijen, Mika Immonen, Chia Ching Wu, Johnny Archer, Imran Majid, Thomas Engert, Oliver Ortmann, Tony Drago, Nick van den Berg etc playing?
Why are the field consisting of a lot of players unknown to me?
Does this prove that players have lost faith in Raya Sports after their very late payment after the World Ten Ball?
I certainly do hope so.
Could it be that the top players are finally starting to support the BMPAP and the fight that Efren, Django, Pagulayan, Alcano, Orcullo etc have been fighting?
I certainly do hope so.
The next big tournament on the "WPA Tour" will be the China Open. If the top players supports that event, perhaps the WPA should start considering if Raya Sports and Yen Makabenta (Man of the Year 2006, puke) are worth having as partners.
If I had $ 80,000 added pricemoney for an event, I would fill up the field with top players without a problem.
When someone can't manage to do that, when hosting such an event IN THE PHILIPPINES, something is SERIOUSLY WRONG.
Time to wake up WPA
