Posted a couple weeks ago to see how people were liking there elephant ear wraps.So I decided to ask Steve Lomax to put one on my cue .Also had the pleasure of going to Steve's shop and seeing some of the new cues he will be comming out with soon .It took me about 3 days of playing more than a couple hours at a time to get used to the wrap but now I LOVE it !! It may not make any sense to anyone but me but ,I think I let the linen slip a little too much in my grip on the cue and with this new wrap I deliver a cleaner hit.Also for about 10 -12 months I have been the proud owner of a Lomax jump cue and everywhere I go people say the same thing "yeah ,I heard they are the best " Well, believe it!!I don't care how many times you take another cue and dice it up ......it will not compare to a Lomax jump cue.I tend to ramble but look at the list of top players that are using a Lomax jump cue. Thanks again Steve for the major upgrade to my Omen and I look forward to getting a new cue from you in the very near future.

Matt, did you check the "remember me" box when logging in ?

You got this thread up there 3 times, lol. Didnt mean to laugh, sorry.
I think some posters go backspace and enter again thusly getting multi threads !

p.s. I bet the elephant doesnt like it one bit.
But it does look nice !

Well the industry standard has been set very High- Ricky Phillippi and his father have been putting on the best leather wraps ,wraps for yrs and yrs. Boar Skin wraps- I also like the rare eel skins too. The elephant wraps are becoming popular- I only question the thickness of a wrap and it deadening the feel of the cue. Lomax does every thing great I've heard. mark

I did the remember me thing a few weeks back .For some wierd reason my AZB has been going bananas ??? All I have done is reloaded windows 7 .Sorry for the triple post .

I'll second that! He does the best wrap and cleanest tip work I've ever seen!!!

I already talked to him about adding an elephant wrap to a future cue of mine. I'm not sure when it will be done, but he'll be getting it about 2 days later!

Congrats on the new wrap!
 
Steve is the best in the country at doing these wraps IMO. I guarantee he has done more exotic wraps than anyone else in the last few years, and they are all done right.
