Stevie Moore fans...

Evidently

from the US OPEN subforum, he is a good player from PA. But, it was stated this was a good win for him over Steve.

What really sucks is that he fell right on Pagulyan on the one-loss side.

I was hoping he would do well so we wouldn't have to fade him at the Viking event at the Pool Room in Duluth this weekend :) .

Stevie sure got a tough draw. But Alex did lose, so maybe he's not playing that well. Regardless, if Stevie gets the rolls and breaks well, he can beat Alex, or anyone else. Go Stevie!

I was disappointed to see Larry Nevel didn't make it. Crashed in a parking lot? Geez ...

Tony Watson and Shannon Dalton both won their first two matches, so the Greenville representatives are standing up well. Tony has been playing superbly lately, so his early success is no surprise. I wish both luck.

Is that what happened? I was wondering why he forfeit. Was he just late, or is he hurt? Is he on the other side of the bracket or did he withdraw?

I heard that he wasn't in the car when it was hit. (I wonder where Rachel was at the time? :D ) It just happened so closely to the time he was going to leave for the Open that he couldn't get arrangements made to go.

Too bad. Larry did well at the IPT events, and with his 9-ball break, he may have been a force at the Open this year.

So you aren't going to Charlie's for the big event this weekend. I have been looking forward to that B-day beer for 2 months now.

Hey Daniel,

It may have to wait a couple of weeks. I can't get the time off work, and since the players meeting at Charlie's starts at 7 pm Friday, I can't get there in time. Plus, I can leave for Duluth Saturday morning so it will save me a night in a hotel. Duluth is 110 miles from the house, Soddy is 275, so I save on gas. The entry fees are about the same, and tournament added moneys should be close as well (I think Charlie's is adding some of the money to the calcutta). And the final thing that changed my mind...The strip clubs are much better in Atlanta.

I will probably be up for the Viking event at Charlie's but I'm not sure. I think there is a Viking event and the Big Orange tournament coming up in Knoxville, too. I'm sure we will be able to drink one soon.

Good luck this weekend.

It was a certainly an upset for Chip Klein to beat Stevie Moore. But even so, Chip can play more than a little. He splits his time between PA and the LA/San Diego area, and when he's on, just like any good player, he can pull off upsets like that

Do you need the rundown on them??? You need to go to the Gold Club... Wait a second. They closed that scar city down.

As for the Viking Tour at the Pool Room. I thought the add at the top of AZ that said it was in November. I must be missing something.

Just an FYI, the match between Moore and Pagulayan will be broadcast on BCN tonight at 7pm EST.

I'll bet

that Steve wins the next match - one of the Steve's .... lol He will be playing our Steve, Steve Rector.

Actually he plays Brandon Ashcroft next...

Still a tough bracet...but I am rooting Stevie to keep going, somebody has to come from the losers side!

More Moore Please!
