Hi everyone,

I am hoping that someone out there can help me. While in Vegas during the VNEA tournament a case was stolen containing 3 cues. Two of the cues should be easy to identify. If anyone can help please let me know.

-black square shaped 3x6 case
-Huebler with 5 points and stainless steel joint, no finish, has VNEA International Junior 2nd place engraved on the butt.
-1 predator 314 shaft for the Huebler
-1 predator Z shaft for the Huebler
-Predator break cue
-Barnhart cue, ebony with 5 tulip wood points, tulip wood handle, tulip wood boxes with ivory diamonds. Sarah Rousey engraved on the butt. One shaft.
-jump cue

Any help would be appreciated.

Sarah

I take it they were yours? If so, that sucks. Well, it stinks whether they were yours or not. Where were they when they were taken? Good luck finding them.

Sarah,

Sorry to hear about your cues being stolen. :( Were these your main playing cues? If so do you have backups to play with for now?

Terry

Only the Barnhart cue was mine and it was not my main playing cue. The cues were stolen from the tournament room late at night on thursday/friday morning. Like I said information would be greatly appreciated. The Huebler has alot of sentimental value to the person it belongs to and it would be great to see it returned.

Sarah

Wow, that really is sad to hear about the cues. I hope that they get returned soon, we'll keep an eye out in our area..c-man

I'm really sorry to hear this Sarah. I know how it feels, and I hope you get them back.

Best of luck,

Sarah:

Is the Barhart the one you showed me which was read and black with some white diamond inlays?

You should check ebay. A lot of stolen cues end up there.

Good luck.

I guess I'd better get busy and get pictures taken of every cue I plan to take out of the house at any time of my life. The pics could be very valuable. Insurance wise and as evidence.

The pics of my stolen cues didn't help one bit. I didn't have them insured, however. The police officer looked at the picture, looked at me, back at the picture, and said "I don't believe this is worth a thousand dollars, but we'll keep our eyes out." Never heard from him again despite several follow-up calls I made, leaving messages. Not to say that you shouldn't have the pics, though. I still photograph all of my cues.

I sincerely hope you find 'em Sarah, good luck.

Good luck getting insurance for the "real" value!
Like the post above, they don't realize what a good cue is worth.

Did they just get your cues or did they get a bunch? Was the room supposed to be secured? If so maybe you have some recourse with the folks that put on the tournament.

Good luck.

Sarah,

That really sucks    .

I will keep my eyes out for them as much as I can.

Hi Sarah,

I did a mass email to everyone on my list to spread the word. I hope you get the cues back. Good Luck!

Sorry to hear that Sarah, You can also type in Barnhart cues on ebay and do a save search. Which I have already done, Ebay will automatically email you if one of Corey's cues come up for sale in the next 180 days. You can do the same for Heubler.

Could it be that some of the con artists misspell the name of the cue on purpose ? I see a lot of cues sold in ebay with the name written incorrectly ?

I sure hope you get your cues back !

Sorry to hear it Sarah, I mentioned it in my newsletter also. I hope someone spots them. Take Care and have a great day! Denny

I've never seen a Barnhart. Does he sign his cues? Otherwise it would probably try to be sold using the old unknown maker.

Just a thought,
Koop

Or as a Sarah Rousey, being that her name was engraved in it, thus checking Sarah Rousey auctions would be benifical also, IMO.

Thank you all for trying to help with this matter. Also thank you to all of those sending out mass emails and posting on your websites and newsletters. I greatly appreciate it.
