i'm considering having a cue made and i was thinking about straigt grain maple with simple ring work. anyone have one that they can share some pictures/opinions of

I love straight grain maple all of my cues, will have it over birdseye,but I believe points do help the structural integrity of the cue so I prefer ebony points and rear end.I also like the look of a traditional cue.

I have a few superb super straight grain squares I'm going to make into no frills players cues someday.
At first I was going to use them as coring dowels, not anymore.
