Sugartree Sneaky

I hate to do it, but, well, I'm doing it.

For sale is my Sugartree sneaky. Nicely figured rosewood into beautiful curly maple complemented with nice ringwork.

This was my player until I found another Sugartree that I preferred slightly and as a student I don't want to have too much tied into my cues rather than being used for living expenses, so one of them should go.

One of the shafts has been played significantly more than the other, and so shows bluing. The other shaft has only been played for about a month and a half, and with Kamui chalk at that, so there is very little bluing on that one, it's practically new. The butt has a few very small surface dings but otherwise the cue is in fantastic shape; it's ramrod straight, the wood is gorgeous, and the shafts are ding-free with some curls themselves and very tight grain.

Enough talk, first the specs, then the pics:

Sugartree Sneaky, Rosewood into Curly Maple, signed by Eric Crisp '08
Butt: 29", 14.38oz
Shaft #1: 29", 4.09oz, 13.09mm, Kamui brown M
Shaft #2: 29", 4.19oz, 13.09mm, Kamui brown M

SOLD USPS express. No trades please, unless possibly to trade up to another Sugartree.

I'll vouch for the cue. It was mine and bought new from Eric in 2008. I'm my opinion you won't find a better playing sugar tree.

sugartree

I love the wrapless and the weights on this cue: Under 14.5 butt and 4. plus shafts. I love 14 and 4
Tempting. Too bad I have 50 cues now that I like, and can choose from. It's hard not to go for 51 right now. If it dosn't sell soon I am sure I won't be able to resist making an offer. Someone should buy this cue and help remove my temptation.
Trying to break a Cue Hoarding Habbit

it's definitely very rare to find a sugartree in the 18.5-18.7 range. They all seem to be 19.0-19.2.

Absolutely stunning looking cue you have forsale there Eric.
GL to ya sir.

Why is that irrelevent? Seems like a simple, straight forward question?

Because it has nothing to do with the OP's listed price. If he wants to know the original cost of that cue he can either send a PM or do some research.

And you are right, it is a simple question. Just not the place, in my opinion.

No offense but that is irrelevant.

Free bump for an awesome player...

Good luck,
Chris

Its is a very relevant question. If the sellers price is legit for a used cue than he should know what the cue sells for new.

No offense, but if you dont know what Eric Crisp charges for a new sneaky pete cue like the one you are selling. Then how do you know that 1100 is a fair price for your cue?

really:confused: how much is your time worth? because you just cant go to walmart and pick one of these up....eric has a long list and is very busy.....so you can send him an email and find out how much a new one cost and when he can get it to you.....plus how do you know that 1100 isnt a STEAL OF A PRICE? unless your just fishing.....erics cue have sold on here from anywhere from 800 to 5000 depending on woods, inlays and supply of his cues.....they are great cues and eric is a straight forward and honest guy who is alot of fun to hang out with......o and he also loves WOOD...... so if you have 1100 and want this cue i am sure the OP will sell it to you.....if you dont want to pay 1100 for a sugartree sneaky.....then go look at other threads and find a diffrent cue...i am not sure you are getting of on a good note here on AZ....and trust me if you plan to buy and sell cues on here that is not a good way to start your az posting....mickey

As I've told you via PM multiple times now, this cue has an opening asking price lower than any sugartree sneaky listed on here in over 3 months (I can think of 5 off the top of my head that started higher). One, listed quite recently, sold in under 24 hours. If you'd like to PM me an offer, I'll listen to any offer. However, I think it's clear what your goal is.

Please go grind your self-righteous axe somewhere else.

Cues can be advertised for any price and no one is obligated to buy it. Cues like anything else are based on demand, supply and value. If someone wants to only make a profit they can play the waiting game as someone will eventually buy it. If they need to really sell it the price will come down. There have been many great cues for sale lately with great prices but aren't moving. It the price is considered too high it may sit but as soon as it drops $100 it may be sucked up. Do you want to lose out on a cue that you really want for $100?

If you like it and want it pay the price.

The price of $!!)) is what the seller wants. Searching for what cues sold for is almost impossible since most sellers will delete the asking/selling price when sold.

Hammering a seller's price is against the forum rules and some questions could be considered hammering.
