bubinga

Thanks, everyone. Looks like the consensus is Bubinga. The seller did not know what it was.
I should receive it by next week.

Question;
I thought he was Eric,? Mr. Crisp? that sounds like your speaking of his father. BTW I see alot of post's addressing cue makers as Mr. (so and so) isn't that not a bit pretintious? I mean they're not brain surgeon's

Tim Scrugg's = Timmy
Richard Harris = Richard Harris
James White = James White
Paul Mottey = Paul Mottey
Pete Tascarella = Pete Tascarella
Mike Cochran = Mike
Jerry Rauzahn = Jerry or -R-
Gus Szamboti = Gus
Barry Samboti = Barry
Ken Murrell = Kenny, Murrell etc.

But Eric is Mr. Crisp?

Is that to signify that Eric deserves to be shown more respect that Gus?
or am I to refer to all the above as Mister?
When I call Mike Cochran on the phone Mike, he has yet to say "that's Mr. Cochran to you" neither has Pete Tascarella or any other cue maker I've talked with yet?
Is the term "Mr." out of respect because your speaking of someone that is you senior? or because they are a cuemaker? If it is out of addressing somone who is your senior as "Mr." that I understand

Wow...where the hell did that come from Phil??? I did not read the post as "Mr." being used in the literal sense at all. I don't think it is anything to get all uptight about...it was just used as a term of endearment.

Just a question that has been brewing on my mind for some time now..... Everytime I read a thread addressing a cue maker in that manner,

My comment is not motivated by a single statment in this thread, for I respect anyone for their talent (or any man who works for a living) but having being a wood worker for 38 years I don't feel anyone in the field should be over respected for what they do, as I said cuemakers is not a brain surgeons, or open heart surgeons......

As a General Contractor I've built some fine homes but at the end of the day I'm just Phil not Mr. Henderson, no better than any other man that has worked on my jobsite that day.

I read some posts were cuemaker's are revered as Demi-Gods which obviously really gets under my skin..........

I tell you what. If you put a 40X40 addition on my house with a gold crown 2 inside it i will call you Mr. Henderson. And say thank you Mr. Henderson every time i talk to you.
I really dont think he meant to say he is a better man or person than anyone else. I think its just his way of referring to Eric. AKA Mr. Crisp.

My fault for posting.... if you were to read closley, this not about what is inferred by or in one post.....exuse me for saying what was on my mind.... let the sh%t storm began

Let's see a 40 x 40 addition = approx $184,000
2 gold crown tables = approx $10,000 ea.
Being called Mr. Henderson = Priceless
