I am thinking about putting together two more slide show/videos like the one I did for the 1982 Dayton Open (the one I put on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9hIhAuk7Qw). One would use images from the 1983 &1984 Reds tournaments in Houston, TX and the other would use images from the 1986 Clyde Childress tournament in Lexington, KY. I'm not that knowledgeable about popular music, so I am asking for suggestions about the background music to use for these two slide show/videos. I am thinking that each slide show/video will run about 5 minutes. Thanks in advance for your ideas, and as an additional incentive, if I end up using your suggestion(s), I will send you a CD with the original files used for the slide show/videos.

Juke box music of that era would work fine. Many times after playing 10+ hours you would many times hear a song at least 20 times. I even found music my opponent disliked and would play it 10 in a row upon rare occasions.

Music ...

Light my Fire - Jim Morrison

1,000 miles - Vanessa Carlton

Soak up the Sun or The First Cut is the Deepest or Steve McQueen
by Sheryl Crow

Banking with the Beard by Dave Roberts

"Let Yourself In For It" Robert Palmer
"Who Owns This Place?" Don Henley
Above are some good ones from the soundtrack.

Thanks, Fred. I'm thinking that your song might work with some images I have from the 1986 Clyde Childress tournament. That tournament had 9-ball and bank pool. Parica won the 9-ball and Gary Speath beat Wade Crane to win the banks. Can you send me the latest version of your song as an attached file? I think you have my personal email address.
