thank you

It took 6 hours before Larry won.... 6 hours of moning, crying and lipping...
But the boys from NC took home 9 Thousand ... So i guess it was worth the trip....... We will have more tournaments in the future, I hope they can make it back.......

you dont know who jeff played? and is dereck back in action yet? thanks

Jeff played Manuel from Baltimore. Manuel played Matt Clatterbak on Friday and I'm pretty sure he won.

matt plays under jeff? and he tried to give chew the 7?

Here's a rundown of what I know:

Manuel beat Matt (even I believe).
Matt gave Chew the 7 and Chew won.
Jeff beat Manuel (again, even I believe).
Larry gave Ryan the 8 and Larry won.
Matt wouldn't match up with Larry.
I drove a thousand miles to play Larry my first match and Ryan my second.
Cambridge needs more f'ing hotels.
And to the guy who likes Max against Larry playing some one-hole...I'm sure that game can still be arranged.

That's me! :D

I know Larry Nevel and Max both. Larry is a phenomenal tournament player in the discipline of 9-ball. His break may be one of the most powerful, putting him up there with other champions like Francisco Bustamante.

I hesitate to even give any Max snippets because he likes to fly under the radar. I've known him since he was a young pup, as he is from my area. Let me just say that when it comes to the game of one-pocket, if Larry were to give Max weight, like 2 balls, I'd have to think Max would like his end of it the best.

This is not to take anything away from Larry. He is definitely one of the best American champions today. Max, on the other hand, never desired to be a tournament soldier and enjoys his status of remaining virtually unknown. He's been known to travel the country and play anybody and everybody, but if he had his choice of games, I'm pretty sure Max would choose one-hole.

That's my story, and I'm sticking with it! :)
