The 10am matches on the 1-loss side were all very close. Rob Saez defeated Jason Richko 8-5. Mike Davis eliminated Stevie Moore 8-6. Louis Ulrich knocked out Corey Deuel 8-5. Paul Song pulled out a Hill-Hill battle over Adam Wheeler.

At 11:45, John DiToro took advantage of many scratches by Tony Crosby to advance to the final pairing on the winner's side 8-4. Rafael Martinez and Neil Fujiwara went back and forth on the lower half of the bracket. Neil missed a crucial 9-ball and Rafael took advantage taking the last few games to win 8-4 and advance to meet Ditoro to get to the hot seat.

Rob Saez lost to Mike Davis 8-5 and Louis Ulrich beat Paul Song 8-6 on the 1-loss side.

The 1:30 matches both take place on the 1-loss side between Tony Crosby v Mike Davis and Neil Fujiwara v Louis Ulrich.

Be back shortly with updates...

Mike Davis stays on fire knocking off Tony Crosby 8-4, whileNeil Fujiwara beats Louis Ulrich 8-5. This leaves us at the Final Four of John Ditoro, Rafael Martinez, Davis, and Fujiwara.

Neil Fujiwara just ran out of steam and was eliminated by Davis 8-1. Neil finishes this event in 4th place and takes home $1,200.

Ditoro and Martinez continue to battle for the hot seat...

Geezy peezy, this is the first time I have seen this Seminole Florida Pro Tour forum.

I posted a thread in the Main Section about this event, hoping to find out what's happening.

I only had to look here and get the latest and the best news of the event.

THANKS for the updates. Very much appreciated! :)

John DiToro, ladies and gentleman, has certainly found his long lost stroke this weekend in Jacksonville. He knocked off Rafael Martinez 8-7 to win the hot seat! Rafael had a shot on the 10 ball to win the match, but the bank shot rattled out, leaving "The Bull" the opening he needed.

John now waits as the King of the Hill for the winner of Rafael Martinez and Mike Davis.

Kevin... It's not John's stroke... last night we all took turns rubbing John's belly for good luck... lol...

it's great to see him playing so well!!!

Here is the match winning shot that Johnny Da Bull made against Adam Wheeler on Saturday night...

John sure is playing great and he looks like he is back in old form from 15-20 years ago!

hey AZE - not sure what the final scores were (I am sure Kevin will come along soon with the score updates), but I was told Davis beat Martinez and went on to win the event over DiToro.

Unfortunately for the many DiToro fans out there, Mike Davis was just too powerful tonight in the finals. After knocking off Rafael Martinez, he came at John with everythinghe had and won the match 9-2. John just didnt bring his A game for the final match. Many applause go out to him though for his performance over the course of the weekend.

I hope you all enjoyed getting the posts thoughout the event. I look forward to doing this for all of our tournaments.

Yeah, I just got off the phone with him. He told me he felt he was playing good the whole tournament but just played poorly in the final match -- he also said that Mike played great.
John isn't a sour loser, and aside being a good player is a fan of the game -- he told me he had a great time.
I think he's so lucky that he gets to be around that tour all the time!

I am glad he had a good time and that he did really well.

But mostly I am very glad that Mike worked his wall all throught the losers bracket and came back to win that whole thing. That is definely doing it the hard way. After looking at some of the names he eliminated it looks like losing that first match lit a fire under him that stayed hot until the end.
