An exceptional Bird's Eye Maple cue just completed by Doug Patrick. Many thanks to Doug for bringing this cue project to life. A cue that totally exceeded my expectations! This cue was built to spec on a select Cocobolo 30" full core and still came in at just a click over 18 and 3/4 ounces. To me it's old school elegance with a bit of an attitude! It defys everything I could have ever possibly expected. Monster, monster hit!

When I held this cue the other night, my first thoughts were that it is stunning! Absolutely stunning!

Very nice! Doug is making really beautiful stuff - his butterflies are over the top.
Coring maple with cocobolo... that's a twist.

You know Don, I couldn't find the color linen I was originally looking for, so this was 2nd choice. But like you said, It kinda brings it all together. Thanks!

Sadly, I haven't ran a hundred since I sold my first one. The new Cochran will be my wife's. She ordered it. Hoping I get some news on it soon, It's been a while.

Thats a sharp looking cue. I really like the joint. Most of my cues are like that. 1/2 inch total joint of a true wood to wood construction. Makes the cue feel alive if you ask me. Nice cue!!
