I just tried one for a week no mushroom so far and it is keeping its shape very nicely. put one on a friends cue he is well known for hitting hard and extra hard he can blow out lepro's and triangle in a couple of days doesn't matter who installed them. So far he love's the tip no complaints....yet....

I switched from 1pc phenolic break tip to phenolic ferrule and super pro tip. Breaks like a champ.
The "secret" is out now. Best tip!!!
It is a great all around tip for playing, and breaking!!! Super Pros are standard equipment on Sugar Tree cues!!! I am sure you are familure with the reputation!!!
If you like a hard tip they are great for playing. The will now become my standard on my break cue I build with solid phenolic as a secondary option. For those who like breaking with phenolic but hate the way its difficult to control spin on the ball and cannot get chalk to stay. This is a great option. Chalks flawless and hard egnough plenty hard to break with.
