### super special! New tiger emerald tips are here! ###

Thanks for all the orders guys. Make sure you put your AZ name on Paypal subject, OK?
I asked Tony from Tiger to have Cory chime later on in the day on the thread about these tips! They play awesome!
Thanks!

I am interested in hearing how they play ... I love the Everest tip but do these grab the ball as well as a Everest ... Is Everest a softer tip then these?

The Everest is a softer tip. If you like a tip in the way an old Moori hits, then you need to try this one. Honestly, I like the grip on the ball better than the Mooris.

I have been selling a few boxes as well. If you want the price for a box, please pm me.

Sent payment for 5.

Thanks Dean and all of you folks.
I've got an overwhelming response on these tips and I have plenty of boxes available.
Also had 2 AZ'ers that ordered a Tiger X Ultra shaft and asked me to have the Emerald installed instead of the Sniper.
If you want a box, pm me and I will send you the discount box price.
I have plenty of stock of tips so do not be afraid in larger quantities. You will not be sorry!
Thanks again

Please pm me with box price. And catalog for Mezz Cues etc. Thanks Tony!

Sawthis posted by Cueman....Shore hardness ratings will not tell you how the tip will play. The type of leather, coarseness of the leather, the way it was treated, and the type of glue uses to bond the layers decides how the tip feels and plays. Some tips that are way up there on the rubber durometer tests in hardness, actually play softer and a lot more spongey than tips that are softer on the chart. Triangles are one example.
So at best such a chart will mislead players into thinking one tip will play soft that actually will hit like a brick when broken in and vice versa. Muellers have had a chart listed like that for years and the tips playing characteristics most often did not line up with the hardness ratings.

have to agree, not saying who is right or wrong here, but Tony is stating from his experience. I will take experience over a chart any day.

Thanks,
Jon

not true, the emerald will NOT be rock hard. the figures that mueller's uses and the one that tiger uses are different hardness scales, you can't compare them. for instance mueller's rates the everest at 75.1 and tiger rates it as 95.

I think you are right on the money
