I used to see most of those guys, including Frank Oliva, at Chris’s too.Marie's is where I cut my pool teeth, along with most of the good players in Chicago at the time (early 70's)...I loved the place. Everybody played there...Dallas West, Wendall Wier, Leon Ledford, Tommy Spencer, Tom Karabatsos, Joey Gold, Waterdog, Mexican Paul, Preacher, and a thousand others that escape my mind right now! It was THE room in Chicago after Bensingers closed down!
Ah...the memories! My first real teacher, Frank Oliva, lived right around the corner, a couple of blocks away!

Me too. The skirt on the long table is rails from the same table. It was a Brunswick Pfister billiards table, probably over 100 years old and too far gone to save.I really like the antique Brunswick pool table legs at the end of the bench!
