SVB in action live now!

I am curious to hear from those of you that watched some of the stream last night. Obviously having Shane on the stream boosted our numbers and we had people watch that have not seen our stream before.

Unfortunately we were already set up for teams on two tables and Shane was playing on the table that only had one camera angle, but other than that, what did you think of the quality? What improvements would you like to see?

I am not looking for bashing, but constructive criticism is always welcomed! Thanks for watching!

I don't catch many streams so I wouldn't be able to provide much by comparison. The only thing I can offer is change the font on the "Race to 15". I believe it was Times New Roman. That, in my opinion is the most boring standard font known to man.

Thanks for the stream! Always great to catch Shane in action!

I thought the stream was good, just checking the recorded videos and it looks pretty clear considering the low light conditions. I would not have as many graphics on the screen though at one time, in between racks pop them on or off to show sponsors. Thanks for bringing live pool to the masses, its appreciated. ;)

Just wanted to say thank you for the stream & your post letting us know about the match. I enjoyed it, one camera or not.

Watching the recorded match now ... quality looks good (haven't tried full screen - i'm at work. heh)

There are a lot of graphics, but they're placed well enough so they don't interfere with the match. I don't find them distracting, necessarily. The score boxes are a little on the large side, but it's nice to be able to read it clearly.

Notice at the 1 hour and 10 minute mark, when the renegotiate to get the wild 7 and 8 Shane racks the money balls in locations common to make on the break - and the guy (Dan) calls him on it.

Perfect reason to *know the rack*!

SVB is a beast, he is just amazing to watch.....

That darn Olson is a hell of a player too!!!! I was thinking this kid is crazy to play him like that at first. Now I'm not so sure that's not an even game.

You can tell SVB wants that kid to improve too cause he's playing him for a couple hundred like that. If you got SVB as a sparring partner that's gotta help. I watched an hour or two of that stream and I was very impressed.

Darn I missed where he switched to giving up the 7 and 8. I wouldnt guess he could win like that. I watched the set when Dan beat him getting just the 8 playing alternate breaks.

I didn't realize put a limit on the recording length, so the end of the match did not get recorded. Shane won 15-11. A lot of that was due to Dan's break the second half of the set. I think he only made 1 ball in 8 breaks!

Thanks for all of the comments so far. How about the area around the tables? I like to be tight on the table, but I can understand people wanting to see more of the players. I thought the SBE was far too wide of a shot.

I watched some of it. I would follow Lennys advice. Run the ads in between games. A little better light and have a great product.

I like a somewhat wider view on one camera. It can get irritating when the players keep walking in and out of the stream. Also i like to see the guys reactiin while he is sitting and the player at the table gets lucky or makes a great shot.
Thanks for the action. Looked like they tried as hard as if they were playing for 5000.00
