This is a special request to all of those who would like to see this interview:

Shane was interviewed on Wednesday, by the Local Sacramento CBS News and for some reason, they have not posted the interview to their local page. The purpose of this interview was to promote the tournament that he is attending.

In the hopes expedite their editing or selection process, I'm hoping that YOU can send them an email request asking for CBS to post this interview ASAP!

It still never ceases to amaze me that when the mainstream media does news on pool they go right to 'hustling' and 'trickshots'!

Unfortunately, that's what the general public associates with pool. Just about every movie ever made about pool has to do with "hustling" and the only pool televised are the trick shot competitions. As far as trick shots go, what else can they cram into a 60-90 second spot that would be appealing to the public? At least they mentioned his three peat of the US Open. The sad thing is, people watching that spot probably thought, "That guy isn't that great. He didn't make all the balls." LOL!

Don't forget another most annoying word, you must be a pool shark? When I hear that I tell em I'm a Dolphin, and let em process that response. But hey, what has the industry done to change that mindset.........Zippo. Also, some of our great up and coming players....NEED TO DRESS FOR SUCCESS. With no structure or player association we have Zippo again for long term goals and therefore it's the way it is.
