SVB / Orcullo Round II

Shane looks like he'd rather be somewhere else. Wake up Shane! Get some food in you.

Dang Marsman

Rat's....

I was hoping you weren't watching.

Dennis is killing all our action.

Us Filipinos need HOUSING.

We are still lusting after your Motorhome and trailer, can't remember the name?
Will my 1950 Lincoln fit in the trailer.......grin.

Take Care, Barney

shane does have on bright lime green shoes and plaid white shorts, with a gray and black sideways striped shirt and it does look bad! lol

I think Dennis has more to offer than Shane can handle.. Just my opinion.. Time will tell!!

Welcome to 8 ball on the TAR table. I think it was an eye opener to many (350 viewers). Thanks TAR and OB!

Alternate break next time?

Mars, you are shane's backer correct?

Can you please dress him next time?

Stripped shirt, plaid shorts, dayglow sneakers, dirty white glove and .... a Cuetec.

It looks like he drove by an exploding WalMart and stuff stuck to him.:grin-square:

The shoes were atrocious! But he plays good in em so..........

First set was ridiculous. An 8-pack followed by an epic comeback. Sick.

The first set was not an 8 pack although Orcullo did get up 8 games, Shane did get to the table. Shane wins that first set and Orcullo wins the flip in the 2nd set and runs the 8 pack as he was pissed off from losing the first set hill-hill and scratching in the side.

As a comparison in level of play, how many B&R's did Corey and John have during their 8ball set?? Just curious but I don't believe it was even in the same Universe as DO and SVB..

That was one of the all time great TAR shows, and it's only the prelims!

Timing is, in fact, everything!

I tuned in last night to see Dennis up, 8-0.

Then I watched Shane pull out all the stops and win it.

The last game in that set was just SICK. Shane misses on the 8 in the side...then Dennis scratches. Never seen anything like it.

A come-back for the ages. Can't wait to watch the show tonight!!!

Thanks to JCIN and OB Cues for putting on one hell of a show!

Can anyone confirm if the players/backers will be betting on the side on top of the TAR money?

Why does it matter?

Because at least half of the most talked about gambling matches of all-time are because of the amounts. These being the $100,000 Walden match; the $150,000 Dippy-Frost debacle; and the $100,000 Color of Money match between Efren and Earl.

There is a possibility with the money on both sides of this match to have $1/2 million dollars on the line. I have no idea if anything is being bet, but both sides have the resources. I believe Orcullo's crew would easily bet six figures. Knowing that a hill-hill game is worth $50,000 or more is much more meaningful than $1,500.

The most I have played for on a single game was $300 and I was not concerned at all on any ball whether it fell or did not. If that figure was $3,000 I would be sweating bullets even if I thought I was a huge favorite.

This just shows the difference between the absolute top players and everyone else. Not to demean Corey and John, but they might not have gotten to three. Not saying they would not adjust or that Shane/Orcullo could play at this level every time, but they made that table look like a bar box.
