Who is this 'us' you're referring to? Unless Sharks invited you to play in this tournament or is forcing you to watch the stream, they are leaving you alone. Not sure why you're taking this so personally.
I get it. You don't like the rules. Let's move on. Maybe a comment on why SVB got smoked by DO in this format?
I think what everyone is missing is the fact that this is nothing more than a sales platform, and the players are paid actors to get your attention for the purpose of sales, and sales only

That's usually the case for exhibition matches. And?
Who said anything about being paid to lose? They're the attraction to get viewers to see what the sponsors are selling!
Last year, when they had series of internationals vs Filipinos, Orcollo lost to internationals like Alcaide, Big Ko, SVB.
I think subsequently, the lame push out after break rule was introduced and Orcollo has been winning vs internationals.
I doubt it is plan to prod "rock star" Orcollo to win vs internationals and keep Sharks fans/ subscribers interested. It is Shark's house, they can set any rules and "paid" guests have to play by their house rules.
It may be coincidental that Anton Raga was banned from Sharks last year for supposedly throwing match. It is also definitely coincidental that Perry Mariano (who is also Orcollo's manager) is key driver behind Sharks but again Mariano has his fingers in every pool pie.
Mariano and other Filipino pool elders are doing good job try to ramp up Filipino pool with this Sharks venture.
