SVB vs Biado - 8-ball Finals

Alvin works just as hard and I truly appreciate the work that Justin does to provide these matches. based on my budget at the present time, I can only afford free streaming, so excuse f******* for asking. :bash:

Oldplayer,
I'm with you on the budget thing right now. And I openly admitted to not buying as well. This wasn't a bash on you as you're not the only one to have asked. It was just an observation that beggars (including me) can't be choosers. So just enjoy the video's that are out there and wait patiently for the most recent videos. Whether it were available today, or in 6 months, it's still not live, so you'll be able to enjoy great pool even though you still know the outcome.

People need this for free because they can't afford twelve dollars for a once-a-year event?
Am I being a dick here? I'm feeling like I'm watching "The Pursuit of Happyness" again.

so, "creedo".....i feel compelled to answer your question. however i will not give all the details......my wife is terminally ill and we had a grand "expensive" life but her illness has cost us all of our savings just to keep her last days more comfortable. i do not spend one dollar on myself whether it be for medical or "splurges", it is all for her. so, yes, i would not spend $12 per year on watching a pool match while the $12 would be better spent on her! (married for 47 years). hopefully this may shed some light on the plight others experience.

Can't afford is a subjective question. Do I have $12 in my pocket? Yes.

But being in the unfortunate position of unemployment for 7 months now, I would say that I cannot afford to pay $12 for this once a year event. That's why I was being careful of my wording of budgeting priorities.

That being said, I didn't ask for it for free and am the one that said I watch what is available.

Are you being a dick? Not necessarily. To me you're asking a question to understand the other sides perspective.

Believe it or not, $12 is a lot of money depending on a persons personal situation.

Good for you oldplayer. I won't wish you well since you mention she is terminally ill. But kudos to you for doing everything you can for her in this most difficult time.

I love the TAR VOD and the prices are reasonable. The fact that the matches can be downloaded makes it a no-brainer.

Waiting for more matches to be posted so I can buy them.

If the US Open matches get posted, I'm first in line.

Guess I was, in fact, being a diсk then. I apologize. Hope things improve for you guys.

I can't speak for oldplayer, but I didn't consider you a dick at all for your statement. No apology necessary to me. For me, it's just budget priorities as my belt has been extremely tightened this year. Won't even be playing leagues or tourneys until things change.

I love the sport, and love to support when I can. As your last statement says, hope things improve (and soon) so I can get back to normal.
